C-Y Music: Legal
Custom Chamber Music is a service of C-Y Music. Custom music arrangements produced by C-Y Music are copyrighted by C-Y Music or by the original arrangers. By purchasing an arrangement you are permitted to print, use, and perform the music with your own ensemble, but you do not own the arrangement itself and you are not allowed to distribute, sell, or modify it. The copyright to each arrangement is retained by C-Y Music or the original arranger, as appropriate, and C-Y Music explicitly retains the right to resell the arrangement. We only arrange music that is in the public domain or is owned by us. To be safe, we usually don't arrange anything after 1900, and we usually don't include dynamics or other markings that might be protected by copyright.
