Franck Violin Sonata, Mvt. 1

Cesar Franck (full name Cesar Auguste Jean Guillaume Hubert Franck) was a Belgian composer and virtuso organist. He only wrote one violinsonata, but it is one of the best-known sonatas today. He composed the Violin Sonata in A major for violin and piano in 1886 as a wedding gift for his friend and famous violinist Eugene Ysaye. This is the complete first movement from this sonata.

This is an arrangement for violin and cello. The violin part is mostly identical to the original solo part, but there are some sections where it needs to help cover some of the piano accompaniment (these sections are indicated in the music with smaller notes, but should still be played).
