Handel Hallelujah Chorus

Handel's Hallelujah Chorus needs no introduction. It is one of the most widely recognized classical choral pieces in the world. The Hallelujah Chorus is the last movement from the second part of The Messiah. It is usually performed at Christmas concerts, even though the text is actually from Easter. Audiences are expected to stand whenever the Hallelujah Chorus is performed; this dates back to the very first performance in London when King George II stood.

This composition can be played by 89,323 different combinations of instruments (really!).

Version v04

Buy Version v04 ($4.99)

This is a very flexible arrangement that can be played as a duet, trio, or quartet with many combinations of either strings or woodwinds. Most instrument combinations are medium difficulty, and there are optional gaps to assist wind players who might need more breathing space. But if viola or cello is playing the first part it will require a more advanced musician since much of it will be in 7th/thumb position.
